Working on the triggers that take me out of healthy social engagement has helped me stay out of fawn and freeze responses for much shorter periods. Changing my brain to understand what I own and what I am not responsible for has been absolutely life-changing. I honestly don't know how successfully I could have handled this last crisis without Shelly's guidance.
